Playtime New York's First Show July 31-August 2

International trade show Playtime is holding its first New York event July 31-Aug. 2 at Soho's 82 Mercer, according to event directory Sebastien de Hutten. The U.S. version of Playtime follows the direction of the Paris show, which launched in 2006, and the Tokyo event which began last year. For its first edition, Playtime will be setting up a ‘trend’ spaces where all the new items from the collections will be highlighted.

"Our goal is to bring the bst product mix and the best buyers together and maintain the whimsical, innovative, energetic, yet professional ambiance for which we are known. By creating a unique fair that includes  ll of the essential elements buyers are seeking, Playtime provokes and responds to their demands which ultimately benefits the exhibitors."

The show will include infant and children's clothing, shoes and accessories, baby gear, toys, decor, childcare, and maternity items. The 25,000 square foot event space features a loft design and will feature an easy-to-navigate and layout with open booth design. Exhibitors range from Baby Eggi to OiOi Baby Bags and include a number of boutique-style apparel brands.
