ASTRA names Keynote Speakers
For 2016 Marketplace & Adademy
The American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) recently announced that stress management guru Colette Carlson and Bob Phibbs, the Retail Doctor ®, will headline ASTRA’s 2016 Marketplace & Academy. This year’s event, the biggest annual gathering of the specialty toy industry, is scheduled June 5-8, 2016, in Denver, Colorado.
The Toy Industry Association (TIA) recently unveiled the 84 finalists for the 2016 Toy of the Year Awards. Between now and January 17, 2016, consumers can visit /www.ToyAwards.org to vote for their favorite toys in each of 12 categories. When they vote they may enter to win exclusive prizes. The Toy of the Year winners for 2016 will be announced in February.
